    Introduction

Late Proto-Finnic (Finnish: myöhäiskantasuomi) is a reconstructed language, which was the predecessor of all Finnic languages, such as Finnish for example.

Based on research of Germanic loanwords in Finnic languages it is assumed that Late Proto-Finnic evolved into separate languages around before 0AC.
