A constructed language by Bryant K..
Unlike some of the more aesthetic conlangs out there which often have fairly complex grammatical rules, Almalinian was created to be both highly beautiful and grammatically simple so that it could be quickly learned.
Language sources: A number of other languages were thrown into the mix, such as Esperanto, Latin, Turkish, Elet Anta, Valavya, Toki Pona, and especially Quenya and Sindarin. However, most of the words were merely "building blocks" which the author used as ideas to create more beautiful words. In effect, it is not really possible to notice the similarities between Almalinian and other languages.
At this point, no one seems interested in learning any of the actual language. However, Almalinian is supported by a substantial cultural foundation; most of those who read about the culture seem to be quite impressed, although they aren't actively involved in any of the creation. However, the inventor of Toki Pona has helped substantially in establishing the different sounds of the Almalinians' language.
