A constructed language by Marcus Miles.
The vowel changes and mergers are (I think) unique among Romance languages. The neuter case survives, and a retroflex series existed at an earlier stage. Elision has had great effects on the original Latin.
Language sources: All the other Romance conlangs; Berber, Etruscan, Guanche, Greek.
Long vowels in Latin merge horizontally, not vertically, borrowing/development of retroflex series (later dental affricates), survival of the neuter gender.
