A constructed language by Victor Medrano.
Vling, inspired by Oriental xenophilia, uses the magic of tones to differentiate the parts of speech. By merely changing the tone, a word can be converted from a noun to a verb to an adjective to an adverb, et cetera. While 3000 words have been coined, not all have been defined yet.
Language sources: Mandarin, Vietnamese, Cantonese, Thai, Japanese, Esperanto, Lojban.
East Asian phonology. Highly analytic syntax. Tones indicate part of speech. Free word order. Optional verb tense and aspect. Extensive list of aspect markers. Head-first and head-last adjectives. Head-first and head-last relative clauses.
