Introduction
Judaeo-Catalan was a Jewish language spoken by the Jewish communities in Catalonia, Spain.
Linguistically, it shared many features in common with early Shuadit, although historically, ethnically and politically, the Catalanic-speaking community was long distinct from the Shuadit-speaking community, mostly as a result of the Moorish occupation of Iberia.
