Introduction
Lycian is an extinct language spoken by the Lycians.
Lycia covered the region lying between the modern cities of Antalya and Fethiye in southern Turkey.
The verb
There are two tenses, two moods (indicative and imperative).
An interesting feature of Lycian B is the opposition between reduplicated verb stems in the present and single stems of the past tense. The personal endings include -wi and -m for the 1st person singular which can be traced back to Hittite. The infinitive ends in -ana.
