    Introduction

    Seychelles dialect is reported to be the same as Chagos. Structural differences with Mauritius are relatively minor. Not adequately intelligible with Reunion Creole. It is heard everywhere on the streets, in the shops and homes. The native language of virtually all its citizens (D. Bickerton 1988). It is gaining rapidly in status. Dictionary. Grammar.
