Introduction
The term 'Altay Tuvan' is employed to refer to both Jungar Tuvan and Tsengel Tuvan, spoken in Mongolia. Ragagnin considers them to be closely related. Jungar Tuvan does not exhibit the pharyngeal effects that are found in other Sayan languages.
