Introduction
Kerinci is a language of Indonesia. It is spoken in Sumatra, Jambi Province, western mountains, Sungaipenuh area, and north and west. Also in Bahrain.
Dialects
High dialect diversity in a small area, shading into Jambi Malay (See: Malay) east and Minangkabau (See: Minangkabau) north. Distinct from Kerinci-Minangkabau dialect of Minangkabau.
